
Some of the easiest clients to get you started as an online trainer are your past face to face clients and your current clients' friends and family.
These people already trust you and know at least a little bit about you.
There are many ways of approaching these potential clients but to make it easy for you we have created some email templates below that you can edit and send to get the ball rolling very quickly and easily.
Just make sure you take action and actually send them!!
Some clients may want to sign up online, most will likely prefer to have a chat, in which case send them your Calendly link and ask them to pop themselves in for a chat.
Here's an email to get your former clients signing back up. This email is aimed at your former face to face training clients. I recommend you offer these clients your friends and family package made in the previous step (how to get your first 5-10 online clients).
This email is super simple but works really well. You could also send it as a text if you prefer.
All you have to do is copy and paste it and then put in their names where it says (NAME), goals where it says (GOALS) and your name where it says (YOUR NAME),
Hey (NAME)
It's been a while, how are you getting on with your (GOALS) efforts?
(YOUR NAME)
Make the changes, hit send. When they reply continue the simple conversation to sign them up to your friends and family package.
(a quick side note: if they don't reply to your first email just follow up every few days with a short and polite message)
Once you have contact details and goals of potential online referral clients here's the message to send them:

Again, if they don't reply within a few days follow up with polite messages asking if they got your email and sharing some benefits of your coaching until they respond.
When they reply give them all the info they want and sign them up.
There you go, a simple two email strategy to sign up new clients to your coaching program.
