If you're not in a position to watch the video right now, here are written instructions to guide you;
Inside your client or your group dashboard, scroll down and click on the programs tab. This brings up a list of all of your programs. Choose the program that you want to schedule. Then inside the action dropdown menu, choose scheduling and progressions.
To schedule the programs, choose the workout that you want to schedule. Select the date. Select the time if you wish to. If you don't want your clients to have a specific time, then a good idea is just to schedule them to go in the mornings, so clients get a little reminder that they've got a training session that day, and it's in their account, ready to use.
If you want to repeat it, click on repeating (for example, you may want your client to repeat this workout once a week for four weeks) and add to schedule.
If you wish to progress that workout over the four weeks, you can do that by clicking on progressions. That will allow you to edit the acute variables for each day's workout. You can change any of the sets, reps, time, tempo, rest, and intensity.
Once you're happy with all your changes for that particular day's workout, you can click on save. Or, if you want to put your edits into other days, you can click save and copy. Save and copy allows you to copy your new variables to any of the other days that they're doing that particular workout.
For example, if you're doing undulating reps, it could be really useful to copy your edits to a couple of the workouts, and not all of them.
When you're happy with everything, close the scheduling modal down.
You can also schedule programs from inside the program builder. To do this just scroll up to the top of your program and click on “Schedule program”.
It's worth noting that you don't have to schedule your clients programs in PT Distinction. You can just allow clients to pick and choose which ones they do on any given day.
