I always understood the value of fitness and optimizing quality of life. But for the majority of my life I procrastinated it, as I do most things. When I was 18, fresh out of high-school I went right to a Toronto college for Video Game Design. It was a personal college that was under construction basically all year round. Rubbing elbows with unhygienic people that have poor social skills in tiny rooms with giant computers that produce a ton of heat. I don't mean to be insulting, the amount of people that you could consider "healthy" in that course was less than 50%. I was living in Toronto alone in a basement apartment with no windows (yes, I now realize that is illegal). Needless to say I became extremely depressed.
With my return home my depression didn't just "switch" to being happy again. That's not exactly how it works. After a few months of playing FAR too much Minecraft, which is a game that absorbs stupid amounts of time, making me even more depressed, I got to a point where I wanted to climb out of my hole. So I got on Google and started reading about "how to not be depressed". Cold showers were suggested, which I still do today. A healthy diet, which I started incorporating. But most consistently across the board was the significance of exercise. Then my Google searches switched to, "How to exercise".
After months of research and implementing my knowledge in the gym I had climbed quite far out of my hole. I realized how great I felt about myself and how much knowledge I had accumulated. This brought me to the conclusion that I could pursue a certification so that I could help others change their lives much like I changed mine. Ever since then I've been constantly building on my knowledge base and staying forever hungry for more.
Now here I am to help you improve your life in whatever way I can. Until next time...

"I would like to take this opportunity to recommend Trevor Nethery, who is a very knowledgeable, personable, and dedicated personal trainer. I have had the pleasure of working out with him for two summers now and find him extremely knowledgeable in general conditioning techniques. He has great understanding of body mechanics, muscle function and is capable of determining the individual abilities of his clients. I have found him to be an extraordinary physical trainer, he is easy to talk to and has a great sense of humour. His pleasant and positive attitude is a great asset to his willingness to work with his clients at their own levels. He instills confidence and encouragement to make you want to work further and push yourself past your limits. I highly recommend Trevor as a personal trainer to anyone interested in increasing his or her physical conditioning."

"After more than a decade of running and after several years of weight training, I thought I had reached the limit of what my body was capable of. Meeting Trevor and discussing what I had thought to be unrealistic goals proved just how wrong I had been. In less than 6 months of following the routine that Trevor had set, not only I, but everyone I knew, was noticing big changes. Diet and exercise tailored to my goals has made all the difference in the world. Thank you Trevor :-)"
