ABOUT ROBERT SCOTT
Hi, I'm Robbie, a qualified Personal Trainer with a passion for helping people to get their bodies moving, working and feeling better.
I started in health and fitness overweight, asthmatic and struggling with anxiety, self-confidence and fatigue. I eventually found my passion in bodybuilding. It was all I knew and that's how I trained, but over the years I dealt with sciatica, nerve, back and neck pain that would always hold me back from continuing to progress.
Following a career change from chef to Personal Trainer I built a successful PT business over a number of years. Surrounded by a team of high quality industry professionals in Auckland New Zealand, I started to learn other training and mobility methods outside of bodybuilding from powerlifting, triphasic methods for sports, sprinting and running mechanics, and joint care.
Still dealing with pain and fatigue I finally decided enough was enough and went and got x-rays of my spine done. I was shown a compressed vertebrae, torsions in my lumbar, thoracic and cervical spine and 'uneven hips'. Seeing that at only 25 years old was a shock, especially when I had been training and mobilizing in the way that is traditionally taught.
From that day I wanted to learn anything I could about how our bodies work, how to deal with posture and why chronic pain happens. After years of learning and study, bodies I once thought of as muscles and bones I now understand to be a complex range of systems working as one.
I have continued to grow my PT business and enjoy every moment of seeing clients unlock their potential and grow in their lives no matter their goals.
METHODOLOGY
I focus on getting your body moving, working and feeling better. Rejecting the traditional approach of addressing areas of concern in isolation, my programs recognise that the body is made up of a complex set of sub-systems which are key to recovery and performance. This corrective care enables the restoration of freedom through mind, breath and movement so you can perform at your best.
A RSF online training program is completely unique to you. Using a range of assessments programs are custom built to move your body towards peak performance. Key focus areas include mobility, breath, habits, stress management, sustenance and athleticism.
Goals are as varied and unique as each client, but every journey starts with an 'I want'. To feel better? To be better? To release myself from chronic pain and injuries that are holding me back? To increase my performance at the gym, on the field or elsewhere? Whatever your motivation, commitment to your program will address pain and improve performance while preventing injury.

- Training on how to evaluate assessments, identify compensation patterns and formulate a picture of a client's physical state
- Course education work providing insight into biomechanics, posture and state
- Coaching on how to correct compensation patterns effecting your clients
- An additional two one-on-one call's to support your learning [6 total]
- Mentoring, including the opportunity to submit up to three case studies of your own clients as you implement what you've learnt into real-life scenarios
- A completion certificate

2. After payment, you will then obtain access to the Robert Scott Fitness app
3. You will need to complete a range of assessments - both text and video based - essential in order to understand how best to get you feeling your best
4. Upon completion of your assessments we will then have a zoom consultation, taking a deep dive into your assessments which will build the foundation of your programme.
