Hello my name is Melissa Arce nice to meet you!
I am the founder and owner of EMPOWER Fitness. I am a wife to one huge supportive husband and a mother of three beautiful girls. I began my fitness journey back in 2016 and shortly realized I had a passion for health and fitness. So I decided to change my career path from the financial world to helping others with their fitness journeys the same way someone special helped me with mine.
My philosophy is if I can EMPOWER others to achieve health and fitness prosperity then I have been an asset added into their lives and not a liability.
We are all different, each having our own individual fitness journey's. So what may work for someone else may not always work for you. With my knowledge, experience and certifications I am certain I am able to help you reach your goals. So let's talk!

I decided to start working out again after not out for over a year and after having my baby. When Melissa started the Saturday morning classes I wanted to try it out. Well it's been 3 weeks and I already feel more motivated to continue working out. Throughout the week I do my own little workouts, but when Saturday comes I'm ready to crush it! Melissa pushes you during classes so you can give it your all and I've always liked that about trainers. She also does the workouts with us, which I've always thought was encouraging. Although I've been going slower that I would like, Melissa encourages you to go at your own pace. Working out with Mel at Empower Fitness has been a great experience! For the last couple of weeks since before the new year I was sick of and on and couldn't go to the gym. I honestly am not one to like working out at home, but because of Mel being an instructor and her fitness journey I decided to take online fitness classes so I don't slack on my workouts! The music is bomb! The HIIT workouts are challenging!! I love that she walks us through the workouts incase we don't know it. She pushes me through the workouts with her encouragement and also shows us ways to modify so we don't give up! I began training with Melissa back in May, 2022 and I've definitely seen an improvement in my tone and I feel stronger. I appreciate the way she does exercises. I have been training with Melissa since this past April 2022. I have defently seen a improvement. I have gained more strength, I'm feeling more comfortable in my clothes, and feeling better about myself. She is so patient and I love to tease her about different exercises that she thinks I can do, I’m like "she’s crazy", however she’s right! As a 51 year old former triathlete with two torn rotator cuffs and a bad back, I was beginning to put on weight due to my lack of training. I was very concerned with adding weights into my workout and knew I had to do something to rebuild my core.
